The purpose of New Found Lyrics Consulting is to bridge diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) gaps across various industries, including business, entertainment, education, and sports.
Our consulting company is committed to utilizing innovative, non-traditional strategies to improve relationships between student-athletes, coaches, educators, employers, and businesses.
We pride ourselves on our deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by individuals and organizations, and we are dedicated to helping our clients achieve their goals while creating a more inclusive and equitable environment for all.
Our Founder
Dr. Robert A. Delaleu (he/him) is a seasoned leader and advocate for equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI). With a robust background spanning K-12, higher education, and corporate sectors, Rob has showcased his expertise in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB) and Human Resource management. As the sole proprietor of New Found Lyrics LLC, a DEIB consulting company, he has partnered with multiple prestigious educational institutions to enhance their DEIB initiatives.In addition to his consulting work, Rob is deeply passionate about enacting positive change, evident in his wide range of strategic initiatives including events, workshops, programs, podcasts, videos, and social media campaigns. In the sports arena, he has an extensive coaching history in basketball at both collegiate and high school levels, where his coaching philosophy prioritizes academic excellence, particularly among men of color. This focus is directly connected to his dissertation research on the retention of black male athletes in higher education, which has significantly improved student-athlete retention rates, far exceeding average benchmarks.Rob also dedicates his efforts to youth development through summer basketball camps designed to improve sports skills and develop leadership qualities among young participants. He currently serves as the Executive Director of Human Resources & Diversity Equity, and Inclusion for the Southeastern School District. Having recently earned his Doctorate in Education, Rob continues to be a key driver of societal change.
